Properties of the masonry
Masonry walls are mainly used in residential construction. They can be found in new buildings and existing buildings – but are much more common in the latter.
The masonry can be made of different types of bricks.
What all types of stone have in common is that, in combination with the right fixing technology, they can support very high loads.
All masonry walls share the property of being able to absorb very high loads. Regardless of whether they are clay bricks, sand-lime bricks or other types of brick, highly effective fall protection systems can be easily installed on and in the masonry.
