Things to know about fall protection on prestressed concrete hollow core slabs

Prestressed concrete hollow core slabs are used as roof and ceiling elements in commercial, industrial and residential construction.

Properties of prestressed concrete hollow core slabs

Compared to a solid cast ceiling, they enable large spans with a relatively low dead weight. Thanks to their industrial prefabrication and simple assembly, they can speed up the construction process. Due to their homogeneous material structure, prestressed concrete hollow core slabs offer a high degree of design freedom when planning and installing fall protection.
