Safety net holder for nets according to DIN EN 1263-1
Protecting everyone involved is the be-all and end-all on any construction site. To prevent falls from a height during the construction phase, it is essential to install a safety net (or safety net) that provides an additional level of safety for people at risk of falling. An important part of such a system is a stable safety net holder, which provides a connection between the mounting base and the net.
In compliance with the regulations, a safety net can be used for roof work from a fall height of 2 m. The person in charge of the construction site is responsible for assessing the situation and taking the necessary measures in each individual case.
Our patented LUX-top® BEN safety net holder made of galvanized steel is suitable as a suspension point for all nets in accordance with DIN EN 1263-1. With a test load of 6 kN in all directions, it is the perfect solution for attaching safety nets. This means that reliable fall protection can be implemented quickly.
The safety net holder is suitable for mounting on wood as well as for mounting on concrete or steel. Only two appropriate fasteners are required for installation. Once the safety net holder is in place, nets can be attached using suitable snap hooks, suspension ropes or shackles.
The DIN EN 1263-1 standard specifies safety requirements and corresponding test procedures that apply to the use of safety nets. The LUX-top® BEN safety net holder is certified in accordance with DIN EN 1263-1 for attachment to wood, concrete or steel. The safety net holder has also been tested by an accredited testing body in accordance with DGUV Rule 101-011 and is suitable for a load of 6 kN.
Wood, concrete and steel are suitable as a mounting surface. The safety net holder can be attached to the edge profile of a roof, for example, using two suitable fasteners. The bracket is supplied with the corresponding accessories, making installation very easy.

Safety nets are used in a wide variety of applications, for example as personal safety nets on construction sites, as safety nets in stairwells or as a personal protection measure in the form of a pond cover net. The safety net is installed at the height of the fall edge, on the inside in the upper area of the skylight base. This ensures permanent and collective protection against falling through.
