Determining the installation variant and installation height for anchor points

STEP-BY-STEP INSTRUCTIONS
TO DETERMINE THE INSTALLATION VARIANT AND REQUIRED INSTALLATION HEIGHT

For effective fall protection, it is crucial to carefully select the right anchor points, also known as securants. These anchor points serve as fundamental safety components that help to secure dangerous situations on roofs and other elevated work areas.

The exact determination of the optimum length of the secant can be carried out using a precise formula. This is as follows:

Length of the anchor point = thickness of the flat roof + 200 millimeters

This calculation method is extremely important to ensure that anchor points are effective and reliable. By carefully applying this formula, professionals and safety officers can ensure that anchor points meet the required safety standards in every situation, helping to prevent accidents and potentially life-threatening situations. This is crucial for work in elevated areas and on roofs, where the right fall protection can save lives.
