Things to know about fall protection on the metal roof

Prevent injuries when working on metal roofs

Occupational safety is an important factor that should never be underestimated. Particularly on metal roofs, which are often several meters above the ground, a lack of safety can result in serious injuries to workers. Long absences and incapacity to work can be the consequences. To prevent falls from roofs with metal roofing, professional fall protection should be installed.

LUX-top® anchor points and rail systems are ideal for installing weather-resistant fall protection systems on roofs with metal cladding. Securely connected to the ground, our systems provide safe support for all users working at height using personal fall protection equipment (PPE).

Are you looking for solutions for collective protection on metal roofs? You are sure to find what you are looking for in our extensive range of railing systems! Whether trapezoidal profile, sandwich element or roofs with metal cladding: we have the right fall protection for you in our range.

Certifications of our fall protection systems for roofs with metal cladding

All our anchor points, guardrails and rail systems undergo factory production control (FPC) in accordance with EN 1090-2 in order to meet even the highest requirements. Our products and operating processes are also certified in accordance with ISO 9001 and EN 1090-2. Most of them also have a type examination certificate in accordance with DIN EN 795 and DIN CEN/TS 16415:2017 as well as a general building authority approval (abZ) and a general type approval (aBG) from the German Institute for Building Technology (DIBt). Our systems for collective protection are tested in accordance with DIN EN 13374 and in some cases also in accordance with DIN EN 14094-2 (escape route).
