At LUX-top® we can look back on three decades of innovative development, production and sales of fall protection systems for roofs and building facades. Since our foundation in 1994, it has been our mission to create pioneering and patented safety solutions that revolutionize working conditions for roofers, carpenters and plumbers.
The goal for us at LUX-top® was clear from the outset: to make the working environment on roofs and building façades safer. The initiative for this came directly from the field, through collaboration with professionals who were aware of the risks involved in their daily work and were looking for effective safety solutions. This practical approach has enabled us at LUX-top® not only to develop products that meet safety requirements, but also to drive forward genuine innovations in the field of fall protection, right through to project-specific special designs.

- 1994 – Foundation of ST QUADRAT
- 1996 – First own trade fair appearance at Dach + Wand, Cologne

- 2000 – Development of international sales markets
- 2002 – Market launch of the first horizontal stainless steel cable system
- 2011- Award for the LUX-top® RVT at PREVENTICA, Rennes
- 2019 – Company expansion by a further 600 square meters of storage space
- 2023 – Number of employees increases to 70 permanent positions
- 2024 – 30th anniversary of the company

With regard to the prescribed documentation obligation we developed our own successful application of the QUICK-DOKU APPapplication, which is not only helpful for specialist installation, but also includes maintenance and service intervals.
Growth driver photovoltaics
In recent years, the demand for sustainable energy solutions, especially photovoltaic systems, has increased significantly. This development poses new challenges in terms of safety when installing and maintaining such systems – especially on the existing roofs of industrial plants and their façades.
