Extended LUX-top® approval revolutionizes security technology on roofs and façades
Extended approval of the LUX-top® FSA 2010-H rail system – can now also be used on a wide variety of pitched roofs.
We have extended the approval for the innovative “LUX-top® FSA2010-H” rail system. This highly developed fall protection system serves as a horizontal anchorage device with a fixed guide and was specially developed to protect people in areas where there is a risk of falling.
At just 31 x 31 mm and with the option of powder coating in any color, the LUX-top® rail system integrates seamlessly into the aesthetics of the building and can be integrated both on roof surfaces and on ceilings or side façades – as a so-called overhead system.
The main innovation is the direct combination with the LUX-top® SD pitched roof bracket, which makes it possible to attach the rail to pitched roofs and pitched roofs with slate, plain tile or tile and pantile roofing with a bracket spacing of 1.8 meters.
The possible applications of the rail system are rounded off by the fixing to double standing seam roofing, which is also covered by the approval. Thanks to the clamp fastening of the rail brackets, installation is carried out without penetrating the water-bearing level. This fastening can be used on roofs made of titanium zinc or stainless steel.
In addition, the new rail system is compatible with a wide range of LUX-top® anchor points and therefore has a broad spectrum of possible applications.
Another area of application for the LUX-top® FSA 2010-H rail system in conjunction with the respective brackets for concrete or steel is its use for rope access and positioning technology (SZP).
