Steel profiles are often used as load-bearing elements for lightweight halls in industry and agriculture. As they are part of the load-bearing structure of the building, steel profiles are particularly suitable for connection to a fall protection system. Lightweight halls in industry and agriculture often have a supporting structure made of steel profiles. These halls are often modular and have a fixed grid for the arrangement of the beams. These halls usually have walls made of sandwich elements and a roof made of trapezoidal profiles.

LUX-top® has a range of anchor points for fall protection that have been developed for installation on steel beams. Even for demanding applications, for example indoors or on the railing of a balcony, we guarantee safety with our fall protection systems. They are easy to install and the guardrails mounted on steel beams can withstand high loads with little effort, provided they are installed correctly.

• The anchor point LUX-top® ASP EV 2 – steel is attached to the steel structure of the hall. To do this, holes are drilled into the steel profile and the anchor point is bolted there with a force fit and impresses with its high performance. The model is certified in accordance with the DIN EN 795 standard and can be used either as a single anchor point (EN 795 type A) or as an end or intermediate anchor in LUX-top® cable systems (EN 795 type C).
• For the LUX-top® ASP EV version with counter plate for fall protection, the sometimes time-consuming drilling of the steel beams is completely eliminated. The anchor point is practically fixed around the beam with the counter plate. Due to its direct connection to the steel structure, the anchor point is highly resilient. This technical solution is also tested and certified in accordance with EN 795.

The anchor points for fall protection can also be used temporarily for fastening to steel structures indoors.

• The LUX-top® QUICKFIX II for side protection and guardrails is a removable anchorage point for fall protection, which is only connected to the steel structure when necessary using a clamp fastening. Stainless steel material was used to manufacture the product.

In outdoor areas, steel girders can also be used temporarily to accommodate edge protection systems.

• The following is used LUX-top® T-beam clampwhich is ideal for attaching to a side guard and railing. The anchoring device is also made of stainless steel.
