Properties of the trapezoidal profile
Due to their low weight, trapezoidal steel profiles are always used as a supporting structure for the roof superstructure when large, column-free roofs – usually on industrial halls – are to be realized. Their folded shape gives the trapezoidal profiles strength, which makes it possible to span large areas and support the roof structure with low weight.
Due to their low thickness, trapezoidal sheets are not particularly suitable for absorbing tensile loads. LUX-topĀ® has convincing problem solvers in its range for installing guardrails on trapezoidal profiles.
LUX-topĀ® offers you
the right fall protection for trapezoidal profiles
The LUX-topĀ® RVT is an anchor point that has been specially developed for use on negatively laid trapezoidal profiles. Its support plate has a multi-hole pattern. This means that the carrier plate has holes that can be used universally, (almost) regardless of how high or wide the belts are. The carrier plate is permanently, securely and tightly fastened to two top chords using sealing rivets.
The LUX-topĀ® ASP EV 9 anchor point was also developed for use on trapezoidal profile roofs. With a trapezoidal profile height of up to 206 mm and a minimum metal thickness of 0.75 mm, the anchor point can be used on most common trapezoidal profile roofs. Pre-assembled tilting dowels simplify installation. The base plate has concentrically arranged slotted hole circles that can effectively absorb any forces that occur.
