PRACTICAL PPE INSTRUCTION IN ACCORDANCE WITH DGUV-R 112-198 / 112-199
WORKING SAFELY IN RISK-AFFECTED AREAS
In our practice-oriented training course, we teach you the knowledge and skills you need to use your PPE correctly – from selecting the right equipment to basic rescue measures. The aim is to identify hazards at an early stage, prevent accidents and act quickly and safely in an emergency.
In accordance with DGUV Rules 112-198 and 112-199, this instruction is mandatory for all persons who regularly or occasionally carry out activities in areas where there is a risk of falling without adequate collective protection.

If you purchase an eligible PPE system (e.g. lightweight HSG + PPE) , up to 50% of the costs will be reimbursed - up to a maximum of €250 per person.
Prerequisites
- Participation in a training course in accordance with DGUV-R 112-198 / 112-199
- Purchase of an eligible PPEgA system
- Submission of training certificate and invoices within 6 months
In addition
Training costs are tax-deductible as business expenses - an advantage that can have a noticeable impact on your annual balance sheet.
Depending on the federal state or industry, regional funding programs, consulting grants or IHK / HWK programs may also be available. We recommend an individual examination of the funding options.

FAQ - EVERYTHING IMPORTANT ABOUT PPE
Personal protective equipment against falls from a height – working in areas where there is a risk of falling Working at heights or in areas where there is a risk of falling places high demands on safety, concentration and equipment. The legally prescribed instruction in the use of personal fall protection equipment (PPE) forms the basis for safe working in such areas.
Yes, as soon as work involving a risk of falling is carried out, instruction in the use of personal fall protection equipment (PPE) is mandatory. Employers are legally obliged to instruct their employees accordingly to ensure safety and legal compliance.
The costs depend on the location of the training. At our location (Beyren, Luxembourg) you pay €270 per person more than at one of the alternating locations in Germany (€175) or at your location (€225), as accommodation and catering costs are also included.
Instruction on the use of PPE must be refreshed at least once a year. This ensures that skilled workers are kept up to date and the legal requirements are met.
Yes, after successful participation all participants receive an official certificate as proof of qualification.
The instruction is relevant for all sectors in which work is carried out at height or where there is a risk of falling – for example construction, trade, industry, energy supply, telecommunications or building cleaning.
The PPE instruction fulfills the requirements of DGUV regulations 112-198 and 112-199 as well as the European occupational health and safety directives. This means that companies are legally on the safe side.
