LUX-top® ensures safety against falling on steep roofs

LUX-top® anchor points are ideal for installing weather-resistant fall protection systems on steep roofs. Securely connected to the ground, our systems offer personal protective equipment against falls from a height (PPE) provide reliable support for users such as industrial climbers or roofers. All our anchor points are made of stainless steel and undergo factory production control (FPC) in accordance with EN 1090-2 to meet even the highest requirements. Our securties are also certified in accordance with ISO 9001 and EN 1090-2. Many also have a type examination certificate in accordance with DIN EN 795 and DIN CEN/TS 16415:2017

Fall protection on pitched roofs: the LUX-top® range

LUX-top® anchor points for mounting on pitched roofs are tested and certified as single anchor points in accordance with EN795 Type A. In the event of a fall, targeted deformation occurs due to force absorption. Our products meet the requirements for the maintenance of structural systems (DIN 4426 : 2017), the planning principles for anchorage devices on roofs and the requirements of technical regulations for workplaces (protection against falls). The LUX-top® guardrails for pitched roofs are made of high-quality stainless steel of corrosion resistance class CRC II in accordance with DIN EN 1993-1-4. Our guardrails are also supplied with appropriate fasteners and are available with a color coating. We have the following models in our range:

• LUX-top® SDA-S for pitched roofs and pitched roofs with slate covering: can be used as a single anchor point or in combination with temporary guide cable HA4.
• LUX-top® SDA-B for pitched roofs and pitched roofs with plain tile roofing: with adapted cranking especially for roofs with plain tile roofing.
• LUX-top® SDA-Z II for pitched roofs and pitched roofs with tile cladding: optimum fit into the roof cladding thanks to multi-hole pattern, approved by the building authorities with abZ number Z-14.9-839, as a complete system for fastening to the counter battens.
• LUX-top® SDA-FZ for pitched roofs and pitched roofs with flat tile roofing: adapted cranking especially for flat tile roofing.
• LUX-top® SDA-FALZ for pitched roofs and pitched roofs with double standing seam roofing: direct attachment to the flange of the double standing seam panels, no penetration of the water-bearing layer. The required material thicknesses are:
  • Stainless steel: 0.5 mm
  • Copper (only with additional separating layer): 0.6 mm
  • Sheet steel, galvanized: 0.6 mm
  • Zinc and aluminum: 0.7 mm
