Since September 2025, DGUV Information 201-056 has required that installers of anchor devices be appropriately qualified and competent— there is an obligation to provide proof to the client or the workers’ compensation insurance provider in the event of a claim. Leading manufacturers have joined forces within the ESFP Association to offer a practical, standardized, and efficient solution for this purpose, which will take effect on June 1, 2026.

Legal principles, standards & regulations, risk assessment, PPE, use: LUX-top® anchorage devices, solutions for pitched & flat roofs, planning of fall protection, equipment classes, installation of LUX-top® stainless steel cable & rail systems, documentation & maintenance in theory & practice

FAQ: Frequently Asked Questions About Installer and Technical Training
Is it absolutely necessary to complete the installer training at LUX-top®?
The training course for installation technicians for anchor devices can be completed at one of the manufacturers that are also members of the ESFP Association. Since our installer training takes place the day before the expert training, combining the two training days is particularly efficient. This allows both qualification levels to be completed in a single block of sessions without any additional organizational effort.
Why is the technical training tied to the respective manufacturer?
Technical training always covers in detail the installation and maintenance of the manufacturer’s own products, which are too complex. At LUX-top®, this training will teach you everything you need to know about the installation and maintenance of our stainless steel cable and rail system.
How long is my LUX-top® certificate valid, and is a refresher course required?
Yes, since safety standards and technical expertise must be kept up to date, regular refresher training is required. The LUX-top® certificate we issue is therefore valid for 3 years.
To ensure that you can work in a qualified and certified manner at all times, we will send you a timely email reminder about the required refresher training before your certificate expires.
